Voluntary Smart Phone Opt-In
On April 10th schools working together to promote a "Voluntary No Smartphone While in Primary School" was launched. 20 schools in Swords and the wider area are working together on an agreed initiative and to give each other strength and encouragement to start this change in culture. We strongly encourage parents to consider delaying the purchase of smartphones for their children until they complete primary school.
The schools working together are Holy Family J.N.S.and S.N.S; St. Cronan's J.N.S. and S.N.S; St. Colmcilles's B.N.S. and G.N.S; Old Borough N.S; River Valley C.N.S; Swords E.T.N.S; Thornleigh E.T.N.S; Holywell ETNS; Gaelscoil Bhrian Boroimhe; Scoil an Duinninigh; Malahide Portmarnock E.T.N.S; Rolestown N.S; Ballyboughal N.S; Mary Queen of Ireland N.S; St. Nicholas of Myra N.S; St. Margaret's N.S and St. Patrick's G.N.S.
