Firefighter Visit 2026
The children in Junior Infants were delighted to welcome a very special visitor last week! One of our parents, who works as a firefighter, came to speak to the children about his important job and the work firefighters do to help keep people safe. The children learned about fire safety, emergency equipment, and what happens during a rescue. Everyone enjoyed seeing the firefighter’s uniform and equipment up close, and there was great excitement when the children had the opportunity to try on some of the gear and explore the equipment themselves.
